What is the WoW TCG Crafting Redemption program?
As one of the exciting new improvements we’re unveiling with the release of Fires of Outland, this program will allow players to collect different trade goods—found on the UDE Points cards inside booster packs of the WoW TCG, starting with Fires of Outland—and turn them in for powerful, exclusive cards to be announced in the coming months.
We will release a recipe for each crafted item we will offer. Each recipe will require different amounts of various trade goods, just like in the WoW MMO! You will be able to redeem your trade goods for crafted items through a mail-in redemption, as well as in person at our premier events. we will reveal which items you will be able to receive, what the recipes will be, and plenty of other exciting updates! Stay tuned to www.WoWTCG.com for all the news about the WoW TCG Crafting Redemption program!
How to Order?
Link to the Redemption Order Form
Each mail-in redemption is limited to two cards per order. You must include the following:
- Print out the order form, and write the quantity in the appropriate box next to the recipes you are redeeming.
- Sort out the Trade Goods, and separate them with a rubber band for each recipe you are redeeming.
- A self-addressed, stamped envelope (standard legal sized 9 1/4” x 4” or 24cm x 10cm). Make sure to include enough postage to mail the promo cards to your region. This will need to include enough for 1.5 oz (45g) to be sent from the office you are redeeming your cards through.
- Either a phone number or e-mail address to contact you if there are any questions about your request.
- Redemption requests will be handled in the order they are received and may take between 4 to 6 weeks to process. We will begin sending out crafted item redemption cards no earlier than November 30th 2007. If you are concerned that we may not receive your redemption request we recommend using Certified mail or a shipping service that can provide tracking.

What are Recipies?
Each crafted item that we offer through the Crafting Redemption program will have its own recipe. You send us the trade goods that a recipe calls for, and we’ll send you the result of your labors—an exclusive card that you won’t be able to find anywhere else!
How many will there be?
Our initial offering will consist of five different recipes that you will be able to complete. Additional trade goods and recipes will become available in future WoW TCG expansions. Each recipe will require about 20-30 trade goods to craft a single item.
What are Trade Goods?
Trade goods are found on the UDE Points cards inserted into every WoW TCG booster pack, starting with the Fires of Outland expansion.
There are twelve different materials in Fires of Outland:
- Cobra Scales
- Felsteel Bar
- Nether Dragonscales
- Shadowcloth
- Heavy Knothide Leather
- Primal Mana
- Primal Fire
- Primal Air
- Primal Earth
- Primal Shadow
- Primal Water
- Primal Nether
What are they used for?
The trade goods will be redeemable for crafted items, like Felsteel Reaper, Netherdrake Gloves, and more of your favorite items from the MMO! We will reveal the trade goods in the coming months, as we get closer to releasing the crafted item cards themselves. Just like in the WoW MMO, different recipes will allow you to turn certain combinations of trade goods into powerful weapons, armor, and other equipment!
How can I redeem them?
When the crafted item cards have been released, you will be able to redeem your trade goods via our mail-in redemption process. Starting with WoW TCG World Championships, we will also allow players to redeem their trade goods at our Darkmoon Faires and other premier events! Yes, you can mail in cards for the crafting program, though they have not yet announced how this will work. There is a FAQ for the crafting program available at www.ude.com/recipe.
Are the UDE points still good?
Yes! The trade goods have been printed on the UDE Points cards so that you can get even more mileage out of every booster pack you open. Make sure to register the codes on your UDE Points cards before you redeem them via the Crafting Redemption program. Visit the UDE Points Store to find out more about the exciting promotions that are available through that program as well!
